At Bare Skin Bath, each bar of soap is a testament to our journey. Inspired by an organic chemistry class, we experimented with oils until we found the perfect blend. Coconut and palm oil provides a strong cleanse with rich bubbles; while olive and sunflower oils condition and soften. Castor oil boosts the bubbles, and shea and cocoa butters provide lasting moisture. Goat milk lends a silky, luxurious feel, and sucrose lifts the lather with gentle bubbles. As we perfected each ingredient, a deeper connection grew between us-one that we shared in every bar. In fact, our very first date was making soap together—an experience that sparked our passion. What is soap, really? At its core, soap is made through saponification—a chemical reaction where oils and fats combine with a base.
